Craft Lawrence is a 25-year-old traveling merchant who goes from town to town, buying and selling various things to make a living in a period similar to medieval Europe. One night, he stops in the town of Pasroe. Then he finds a girl sleeping in his cart. She had wolf ears and a tail, and claimed to be a god, 250 years old, and named Holo. At first, Lawrence didn't believe her, but when Holo showed him her true form, he believed everything. Holo was like a 15-year-old girl, except that she had wolf ears and a tail. She introduced herself as the harvest goddess of the town, who blessed it with good crops. Despite her responsibility to take care of the town, she wanted to return to her hometown in the north, called Yoitsu. She believed that people had anyway abandoned her, and that she had done her job to create good crops. She managed to convince Lawrence to take her with him and leave the town. As they traveled together, her knowledge helped Lawrence to have more income and benefits, and their relationship gradually grew stronger. But her true nature unintentionally drew the attention of the church.
